Day 28 We made it - ONE MORE NIGHT!!!! This morning we left Katherine fairly early about 7.30am for the long 600+ km day. Had a good morning in the car with no major flipouts and we stopped in Daly Waters for a rest and a ice cream. Continued on to Elliott where we had a late lunch in the park. Day 27 We are getting closer to home and just quietly I can't wait!!!!! So last night was the worst night's sleep ever - it was so hot and no air at all. But when we got up at 5.30 it was windy as - weird. We actually has our tent packed and put down first today and nearly beat dad. We have 2 more mornings to get done first so hopefully. Day 26 Today we left the Bungle Bungles pretty early - for a change we were up and dressed and breakfast early and relatively easily. We stopped 60kms up the road at Turkey Creek to fuel up and air up our tyres. And also for a snack :). Then it was an easy 2 hour drive onto Kununarra where we arrived about 11.30am. Day 25 Another early start to the trip - 5.14am. I'm starting to get over these early mornings and an looking forward to getting home to a decent bed and normality again. We headed off early at about 7am this morning in to the Bungle Bungle National Park. Day 24 Yes, yes we made it through the night and will live to tell another tale. Andy starts today at 4.30am and decides to wake up to the crater to catch the amazing sunrise over it.
