Day 3 Today we were up and could take our time to pack up camp in Katherine as we only had a short drive (compared to the last two days) today to Kununarra. Day 2 Father's Day today - the girls all gave Andy their present from school and Kindy, which he loved. Then we set out from the Threeways Roadhouse at around 8.30am heading for Katherine. Our first stop was Elliott for fuel - it was an eye opener and the girls were less than impressed with the servo toilets. But soon perked up when Andy bought them some chips and lollipops. The day is finally here!!! Off to a good start - left home at 8am heading for the Qld / NT border. Stopped at the border for a photo and after living in Mt Isa for 8 years it was the first time for the girls and I. We continued on for the rest of the day and finally finished up at the Threeways Roadhouse for the night. The girls travelled very well today and enjoyed a cool ice cream after we had set up our camp. Chicken Stirfry for dinner and an early night
