Sleep in yesterday morning until 630am, breakfast and to boat to head back to Puerto Maldonado.

Spent the day hanging out in Puerto Maldonado and catch overnight bus back to Cusco.

So do not recommend the bus between Cusco and Puerto Maldonado, as the road is not good. The original road was notoriously bad so they built a new one a couple of years ago. We left Pto Maldonado at 830pm last night, by midnight we stopped due to road block. At 5am we started moving again only to stop so a massive tree could be cleared from the road, 10 minutes and we on the move again. 10 minutes later we stopped again as a stretch of road was falling away, there was less than 1 lane left but each vehicle traversed it slowly. Next! Few minutes down the road and we momentarily waited while a crew were finalising clearing a landslide,

Is currently just after 6am and we prob have about about 6 hours still to go.

730am and bus has stopped for half hour for everyone to eat, still 4 hours to go.

830am bus has stopped as there is a truck sideways across road, not sure if any other vehicles involved or how serious as viewpoint is limited. Just want a coffee!!!!

Finally arrived in Cusco 17 hours later, should have been a 10 hour trip. Coffee, food, shower!!!!!!
