Up at 6am and Reena and her kids cooked pancakes for our breakfast. Had a fantastic sleep, but damn those blankets were heavy. 8am and time to leave the family and head for boat, they were such lovely people and kids so polite. Reena walked us to the boat and gave hugs and kisses goodbye. On boat and heading for Taquile Island, and realised I left my travel scarf behind....ARRGH!! Up early again today, bus from Cusco to Puno at 7am. We meant to arrive Puno about 4:30pm but not meant to be. There is some sort of strike in Juliaca so we had to take a different route which would add 2 hours onto our trip. Not a problem as this bus stopped at different sites along the way and stopped for lunch.
