Back on the mainland now!

Woke up to loads of mosquito bites! :( and I remembered to use the spray last night for the first time in ages and I get lots of bites, typical! Lol!

Quickly went to the main street to have a last look around and to the post office to get my passport stamped. Couldn't forget that!

Got picked up for the airport. When I got dropped off I got given a Moai necklace, bless them.
Waited for ages to board the plane, the flight was delayed even though the plane was already there, no idea why! Boarded the plane, then waited ageees until it took off. So it was an hour late! It poured down with rain just after I boarded the plane, perfect timing! So that's probably why it got delayed! The flight back to Santiago was an hour quicker than it was getting there! So couldn't complain really!

Booked a room at the holiday inn which was right opposite the airport entrance. It was easier as I didn't arrive until after 10pm and I have to be at the airport before 7am tomorrow morning. More expensive but not a big difference compared to if i got a taxi to a cheap hotel in Santiago and back to the airport. It's so lovely here! Last night of luxury for sure! Definitely going to make the most of it. A shame I'm not here long enough!

Not much news as spent most of the day travelling!

It's Rio tomorrow! Hey, that rhymes, well, kinda! Can't wait :D
