I wasn't too cold last night thankfully, thanks to the layers I was wearing and the sleeping bag. The bed wasn't comfortable at all as it was sloped so I kept sliding down and having to move back up! Never mind!
Had some breakfast before heading off. The 4x4s weren't ready yet so we went for a walk to the lake by the hotel and saw some more flamingos.
Set off and stopped a few times as usual to take photos. Saw a volcano, forgot the name of it!
Drove on to a place called San Juan. There were many small caves with skeletons inside!
Had some lunch inside a place made of salt.
Drove onto the beginning of the salt flats. Not that white but apparently it gets whiter as you go on.
Stopped at a place called Isla del Pescado, in the middle of the salt flats. It was beautiful.
By then it got warmer and warmer. Got so hot with all the layers on so had to take them all off one by one!
Drove onto our hotel for the night in the middle of the salt flats. It was made of salt. My bedroom, which I shared with 4 others, was pretty much outside. The windows were made of plastic and the doors had gaps! Extra layers tonight I think!
It had a shower though, so so pleased! Had to be quick though so only had 5 minutes each! Surprised myself by managing to do it as I usually have long showers!
Chilled out in a building not far from my room before dinner. Another 3 course meal, not bad.
Let's hope it isn't too cold tonight! Hired a sleeping bag again.

Molly Ah sloped bed sounds like a nightmare to sleep in. Poor you! Haha. I hope you got pics of the skeletons in the caves! xx
