Had another lie in until 9am. Well it was because we went to bed too late last night!
Went shopping for some warm clothes for Bolivia. Managed to get some really warm thermal leggings and thermal gloves which weren't as expensive as I thought it would be. So cross as I forgot to get warm socks so hopefully I'll find a shop that sells some at some point beforehand.
Really hoping I won't freeze to death lol! Probably will have to wear all my clothes if I have to!
Afterwards I just walked around and checked out some shops to see if there were any nice clothes. Typical because the clothes I liked didn't have my size! Probably a good thing as it saves me money :p
Spotted Harrods which isn't far from my hotel but it looks like it has shut down as it was empty inside. Unless they have relocated?
Had a spare couple of hours before going out for the evening so managed to FaceTime my mum which was really nice as I didn't get the chance to FaceTime for 4 weeks so it was long overdue! Got to see my dad too at the end and of course Smartie! Great to see their faces! Missing familiar company.
Had a group meeting to meet the three new girls but only two of them turned up. Was told about what to expect on this trip, etc. It will be very different from Rio to Buenos Aires but I'm really looking forward to it. I can't believe it's 2 weeks before I leave for New Zealand! Will miss South America but I cannot wait for New Zealand!
Went out for a meal afterwards to this steak restaurant. Yes, more steak for me! It was cool as there was writing all over the walls and flags for different countries. I had Bife de Chorizo, the best Argentinian steak you could have. With some Malbec of course! It wasn't as nice as the steak I had last night unfortunately but the chips were amazing! They tasted like fish and chips' chips back home.
I didn't expect to have a late night as we have to be up fairly early tomorrow for Salta. But we just had so much red wine and got carried away. The waitress encouraged people to dance with her and it was just great fun. Got writing on the walls too. Didn't get back until very late. I'm sure the people in the restaurant were glad when we finally left!

Will Macdonald You're making me jealous with the Bife de Chorizo and the Malbec. Bet it's much cheaper than having it in the UK, in particular this Argentinean steakhouse called Gaucho! Sounds like you're loving it with all the dancing! x
