This weekend was really amazing. Spent Friday in Freo. Went to the market there and tried some homemade meat pies. Then headed off to the footy field where we were able to get tickets to Sunday's pre-season game. Saturday I spent the day at Scarborough beach. It was beautiful there. Very different from Cottesloe. The beach was much less calm, and there were a lot more people around. Sunday we headed to Penguine Island. It was so beautiful. There was a lot of wildlife there -- different types of birds, lizzards, frogs and of couse penguines. Then headed to Subiaco for the footy (Australian football) game. It was so much fun! And our team won!! I've got a ton of pictures from the beach and the game and a video to post, so check back for them in the next day or so. I was planning on having to kyack to Penguine Island, so I didn't bring my camera with me there, but I will be getting pictures from other people and posting them as well.
