It was Anna's birthday today and we woke up to her scaring round the house on her new roller blades!

At 11am we drove to uncle David's and Aunty Coleen's and they drove us to Carrick Hill, which is a park with an old English style manor house. It was lovely and had a great view over the city but the gardens were slightly dishevelled. We met their two children and families: Kim (daughter) with husband Sean and two kids Amelia and Tom, Jason (son) with wife Corie (not sure on spelling) and two kids Lara and Maya. Garth had never met his two cousins before despite Facebook contact!

Coleen put on a delightful picnic and was great chatting with and getting to know more of the family. The weather was lovely and sunny/hot and the kids loved running around. We got a coffee after food and went back after about 3 hours there. We enjoyed another coffee at David's and chatted for another 1.5hrs.

Back at home Anna was loving her roller blades and I went along the paver with her for a while. Darren made a yummy veg soup and apple crumble!
