Today we hired a scooter complete with petrol, no insurance and no helmets for Rp70,000 (which is about £4.60)! Garth had a tactics ride to make sure he remembered everything from his days in SA and then I jumped on the back. At first I was scared and holding on very tightly. Today was a very relaxed day. I sat by the pool and finished my 'last Sherlock Holmes' book and research flat prices at home. Garth sat in his room reading his book. We walked round to mushroom bay for lunch, mine was a bit spicy :( so we got a milkshake to cool me down!
