Another sleepless night due to colds and altitude. And another day on a bus!

We got an 11am bus which took 5 hours from Potosi to Uyuni with 1 loo stop. The terrain was very dry and vast after we passed through some hills.

One section was sheer red rocks with large willow trees at their foot which was quite beautiful.

Uyuni is the dry-ist town I've been in. I mean Abu Dhabi is in a desert, but this town is quite depressing! It's like something out of a wild west film (but not as good).

We were briefed for the salt flats at 6pm and we grabbed a pizza for dinner.
