A lazy start was much needed. We packed and started our 3 day tour of southern Bolivia. Our group was joined by a nice Swedish guy called Sid and we had 3 off the road vehicles. Another sleepless night due to colds and altitude. And another day on a bus! We got an 11am bus which took 5 hours from Potosi to Uyuni with 1 loo stop. The terrain was very dry and vast after we passed through some hills. One section was sheer red rocks with large willow trees at their foot which was quite beautiful.
