Our last day in Hong Kong was spent in baking heat we managed to burn both me and Tiger because Oliver would not pack the sunscreen or sunhats on the basis we had not previously needed them and that the flight was not for several hours and we needed to pack for the flight not the day time! Today we decided to try to entertain the children by going to Ocean Park. Hong Kong’s own theme park with animals, rollercoasters and more cable car rides (like we needed those). Our impression of the Hong Kong people as orderly polite and welcoming went out the window somewhat on this trip as Tiger was nearly crushed in a stampede in the pouring rain and as the rush to get on mediocre rides became just too much. Eventually managed to get children our of bed and decided to go see a giant Budda. Temperature was 32 degrees C and very numid but for some reason my family still want to walk at tremendous speed everywhere - numpties. We found a Subway for lunch so the kids were very happy. Hiya we have just arrived in Hong Kong and it is like a tropical world! It took ages to get out of the airport by then Hong Kong was really busy.
