I am finally at a computer and the blog plaform is on (Yesterday I was at a computer too, but Kilroy blogs decided to be down while I was up).

So - I have been cycling now for six days since Shenzhen and three days since Guangzhou. During last three days I progressed about 280 km. As the continuous urban area ended at about 50 km from Guangzhou I have been enjoying the scenery of rice fields, bamboos, bananas and many other fruits, vegetables and trees. The route G321 that I have been riding is following a major river, and as a main road it is flat and mostly in good shape. Scenery to the big river and forested hills around it has been pleasant.

So far I have been staying in three star hotels, which have usually costed about 20 euro per night. Last night I however stayed in a four star hotel, whose room rate was 300 RMB, little bit more than 30 euros. Even in that hotel there was only one person who could speak english. In this hotel porter was the one who spoke english. This hotel is also the first hotel having a computer in the room. The name of the hotel is also suitable for me "Long Men Hotel" (Long Men is chinese, not english.)

I am considering a option to take bus from here to Nanning as It looks like the hotel density is getting smaller. It may be difficult to make about 80km days between here and Naning.
