I arrived here yesterday evening. As it was raining and I knew that the hotel was a couple of kilometers from the railway station I took a taxi. As there were no legal taxis around I took a illegal one. I had to once again pay 100 Juan for the trip, although I would have expected it to be officially may be between 20 and 30 Juan. The taxi had to ask many times for the hotel location and finally they dropped me somewhere in the neighbourhood of the hotel. I had to ask several time the locals before I finally found the hotel.

One interesting happening during my taxi trip was that when I paid the asked 100 Juan the driver did not accept my money. I had some problems understanding what was the issue, but apparently it was the fact that there was about 2 mm piece missing from one corner of the note I initially gave him. When I exchanced it to a perfect one everything was fine.

Today I went back to the railway station and bought a local map. Next task would be to find out where I might be able to buy the bicycle. As today is the national day I am not trying to find anything today.
