The mammouth journey done, I arrived in Melbourne at about 11pm. Having completely forgotten that the Grand Prix had been earlier that day (before our delay in Cairns me and Tom had planned on being here and going to it!), I searched round a few hostels that had no rooms. Eventually, after a fair walk, I found somewhere with a room.... at $50 for the night!!! Ah well... just paid it because I didn't think I could be too picky!!!! Went to bed with an early start planned, to get the train and bus out into the country to go to Scuddsy's!!!!

Next morning was up early to catch the train from Melbourne to Ballarat, then the bus from there to Mt. Gambier, where Bec would pick me up when she'd finished work. I wandered around Mt. Gambier for a bit, eventually met Bec and she drove me down to Scuddsy's parents farm.... which makes Westbury-on-Severn look like a bustling metropolis!!!!!
