After 23 hours in transit from Vang Vieng to Vientenne, to Nong Kai and then by 12 hour sleeper train to Bangkok... we arrived in Thailand's capital at around 7am... tired, grumpy and sweaty!! Fortunately Tom picked a delightful guesthouse (or more accurately a s***hole!) for us to stay in just off Koh San Road, further improving the mood in the camp! Never mind... we got sorted and went off for a bit of a look round Bangkok... lovely place, but got pretty bur...

Arrived in bangkok after 11 hour flight... was ok... except I was trapped in the middle section so kept having to bother people to get up and go to the toilet!! also, two fellas were kicking off at each other... we were unsure what was procedure on a plane should two people actually start having a ruck??!! immediately on getting to bangkok went and looked for a flight to cambodia... found one, got checked in, and went to the bar!!!!
