So... we arrived in Siem Reap from Bangkok... was like a half hour flight which was excellent!!

Siem Reap airport was unbelieveable... really cool! However having pretty much run across the runways to the terminal because we were so desperate for the loo we accidentally went into the ladies!!! wasn't until Tom told me outside afterwards that I was aware! Woops!!

So, got through customs and got a tuk tuk into town which was a fun experience... had to search a bit for a guesthouse but we found one which was nice (a bit pricey but we just needed to get ourselves sorted!).

went out for a couple of beers (on "Pub Street"... i'm not making this up!) and watched Australia vs Japan in the asia cup final... lots of aussies about! we then went for some food- both had a Crocodile Burger.... REALLY nice... though we've since decided that might have had something to do with the beer we'd had beforehand!!

anyway, then hit the sack... watched more football (it's on telly all the time here) untill we fell asleep... up early the next day for Angkor Wat!
