We cooked breakfast at our villa's kitchen (with eggs&sausages&all the stuff), and ate it at our balcony watching The view. Niiice and rwkaxing time, sleep long and no hurry to anywhere B-) After a long breakfast we had a "swim" at our plunge pool; even though you couldn't really _swim there ;) But after that we still decided ro walk down tpmo Sairee Village for a stroll and perhaps lunch. After shopping a bit - a really cool marionette skeleton(!) & a traditional table light & flip flops with skulls ;) - we ended up for a lunch to try the Hippo bar&grill's burgers, which had got many good reviews. And we hadn't got any butger yet at this trip. No, not even the yak burgers in Nepal, after we had a taste _how sticky a yak meat can be (I didn't even remember that from my Mongolian travel(s), even thoguh I should have!). BUT; those burgers in Hippo bar were a real disappointment; beef was tasteless, bun rock hard and the veggies not fresh! So DO NOT BOTHER - if that's the best burger in Koh Tao; don't eat burgers here!! Some mire spices to the beef than salt would've krwady made a difference, for a start...
But then we walkwd back to our villa before it got dark. Because we wantwd to enjoy the pool as well and some beers at the terrace in the evening dusk.. :) The Place had a movie box as well, with coupla hundred films, but we decided after all, not to watch any. Had better things to do.. ;)
We had a relaxing day, so it was nice to go to bed then. :))
But this time even me heard the BIG gekkos trampling in the roof back and forth. But still we didn't see any. They sure sounded biggervrhan I've ever seen before, so I would've liked to see one.. Maybe next time, then.
Tomorrow we unfortunately have to change accomodation, but we went to check one nice looking place, the "Star Villa", which we decided to book for the rest two nights here. An apartment up the hill as well, bit more up than the Place, so a more awesome view, but not your own pool. But very nice anyway, and cheaper than the Place. Chek out time is at 10 AM. But we have a private, complimentary taxi to there. At least the villas around here do take a really good care of their customers, which is a good thing!
