After a short drive only 40 minutes!! (My shortest journey jet) I arrived in Jeffereys bay (J'bay). As i arrived at 8 in the morning i was unable to check in until later so i dropped of my stuff and headed out to find my way around. Just across the road was a few shops which is always handy and a cafe. SO i stopped and had some breakfast. Then i head for the beach. Well cant say i was over impressed!! especially after being told you cant not go to J'bay!! The beach was covered in twigs and stuff washed up from the sea and was rocky in a few places. Though the sea was rough!! so i could see why it attracted the surfers!! I strolled along in hope that it might get better!! Parts of it were better and i found the main stretch were everyone hangs out, though i have to say i didn't see that many surfers!! I headed back to hostel and checked in. After spending time catching a tan!! and attempting to swim but getting knocked over by the waves i hungout in the bar. The next day i was heading to Wilderness of which i knew nothing about so had no expectations!! J'bay remains a mystery, did i miss something or is it just not as great as some percieve!!!
