The San Bento station in Porto has a mass of blue and white tiles in its huge entry hall depicting the history if the region.

We arrived in Porto late in the afternoon. The trip took us through the gams in the countryside and past lots of little communities too. The buildings in this area seem to be a bit better cared for than further south.

We decided to find somewhere to have a small meal and thought we'd hit the jackpot when the menu offered a '1/2 dose' on some dishes. Alas!!! The meals were massive. Grrrrr!!
