Suzie and David
Heavy duty scaffolding at the Bordeaux railway station. (David's never seen as much scaffolding as that before!!!)
Our 3 hour journey from Spain was very pleasant. Initially we followed the coast. At one point there were solar panel farms with hundreds of panels.
The many communities we passed seemed very neat, mostly 1/4 acre blocks and houses with white walls and orange roofs.
There were some farming areas with the occasional, very small, centre pivot irrigator and some pine plantations.
Lots of flat, sandy, nothing country closer to Bordeaux.
We didn't see one vineyard on the whole journey!!!!

MegMeg Wow I remember that platform well minus the scaffolding. Bruce will tell you a very exaggerated story if you ask.....
