With only a little over a week left of our holiday, we headed off to Wellingborough to see my family for last time. We arrived about midday and visited my mother first. Before long we were out in the garden picking plums and apples from her very full trees. That done we headed around to pick up Susan And Bob before heading off to Wheeldon Marina and Stoke Bruewen locks to see the narrow boats and of course sneak in a pint of best English bitter.
After dropping Susan and Bob off home we booked into our hotel before doing a quick run to the shops, first stop was Halfords to buy DIY car air-conditioning refill lit ( our aircon ran out of gas on way back from Spain) then off to the supermarket for a bit of shopping (drink and nibbles) We finished off the day with a family dinner at Susan's.
