We eventually left Argentina, a country we were not planning to have an adventure in, back into a country that was quite expensive even compared to the rest of travelling. Well we arrived in Santiago with no really high expectations, and it didnt really let us down. It wasnt really the greatest city in the world probably the worst. Oh my god there was this layer of smog above the city that you couldnt see though, lovely. We found a hostel in the middle of town and on the way Dan got spat at in front of him and on the first night we were warned about our safety in this bar we went to, just what you need on your first day.
