Six Months Baby
Well we arrived in Santiago with no really high expectations, and it didnt really let us down. It wasnt really the greatest city in the world probably the worst. Oh my god there was this layer of smog above the city that you couldnt see though, lovely. We found a hostel in the middle of town and on the way Dan got spat at in front of him and on the first night we were warned about our safety in this bar we went to, just what you need on your first day. However things got a bit better we met some nice people in the hostel, and they could speak spanish which was a help. We also found it hard to ajust to the time difference and spent most of our time a sleep. Luckily we also met a bloke from Auckland and our Kiwi bus at our hostel and he knew a bit as well. On our last day we actually did something and went on a cable car above the city and what a huge city it was, along with the lovely smog and the Andes. But some lovely views across the city. Once we got home it was time to go out for our last night. We got a lovely local bus up the road with a group of us but missed our stop and ended up at another street, but this looked cool so we went down here, and oh my god, Gringos stick out like saw thumbs. When we were in this club called the Green Bull, the women went mad, it was like Eros but the women were chatting up the men they were all over us, Great Fun!! We loved it.
Happily that finish our time in Santiago off to Argentina
