My plan for today, penned 4months out, was to ride Mont Revard, weather permitting. Mont Revard is an imposing sight. It sits above Aix Les Bains looking down over the town and Lac du Bourget. At 1500m it is also a challenging climb on the bike with a couple of soft kms in the middle but the remainder is mostly 7 and 8% gradient. Off to the European summer again! Only for 18 days this year, Sue isn't going because she changed jobs and couldn't get leave. This year is special because the OFCs are doing another riding tour.
