Loesje Thank goodness I can finally get in and read if your adventures! Omg I pissed myself laughing about the washing machine (in the lounge) and the disposal of the water!!! What a crack up! You seem to be having another wonderful experience and what about the sand storm!!!!!! Wow!!!!! Have needed to jump into your life for a reprieve so I am sooooo glad I can read your blogs now. Love to you both and keep the blogs coming!!

Loesje luchich The views from your home are fantastic and I must say I never thought much about ‘seasons’ in India. Please keep the photos coming just love them all and all your comments too! We have been having rain just about every afternoon and it reminds me of the old times in Darwin when you could tell what time it was with the afternoon rains. As I am writing this she’s coming down and loving the sound so much! Not much happening on the real estate front unfortunately as we are so ready to leave and I am so keen about the renovations to our home in Queensland. Have a wonderful time and can’t wait to hear more and especially about your different Xmas over there. Love to you both

Vivien Frnaklin 31/12/2017 another summer storm rolling in this afternoon a welcome relief after a very hot day. Unfortunately rain is forecast for the New Years Eve fireworks. We shall be having a quiet drink at home for new year. Shall toast absent friends! Ken had his 80th earlier this month, a lovely lunch with a few rels and friends. Kate flew up which was lovely for Ken. Natalie and kids were here but Sam and family couldn't make it. Hope they will visit in Jan. We are 4 years into Ken's dementia and the cognitive decline is very noticeable. Have set up some home help and he enjoys respite day care with Dementia Aust. Have met some lovely people in the aged care sector without whom this journey would be so much harder especially not having family around. Have had some home improvements done and I really enjoy our small garden. Good on you both for having this grand adventure and we wish you and family all the very best for 2018. Keep well and keep on blogging. Love Vivien and Ken

Cheryl Rayner Great photos. We will be interested in hearing more about the winter there. Hobart has been very hot the last couple of weeks with temps in the high 20's. Not much rain though.
