Steve and I caught the very efficient, speedy, cheap and immaculately clean underground train (London take note!) to Mong Kok to visit the markets there. As it was densely populated the markets were packed particularly the Ladies Market - you can probably imagine hundreds of women crammed into a tiny space haggling over knickers and petticoats! The pet fish market was amazing - you could get pretty much any type of fish, crab, turtle you wanted for a few pence ...

We met up with Dan for lunch at a popular Dim Sum eating hall. Emma and Dan obviously knew what they were doing when choosing from the many trolleys that came around and we put our trust in them not to choose anything too dodgy! We left the sea blubber and chicken's feet on the trolley and opted for some lovely Pak Choi and Pork Dumplings and Jasmine tea. We spent the morning with Dan and managed to get haircuts and some shopping done. We grabbed a bite to eat and headed for the park as the sun was shining. Dan and Emma took us to Ocean Park - a large theme park and wildlife centre - for a day of fun! We saw the giant pandas, loads of butterflies and birds and an amazing aquarium filled with so many fish, turtles and sharks. We have now made it to Hong Kong after a long day of travelling - even had to do the running through Bangkok airport thing (or limping in Steve's case) to get our connecting flight. We can highly reccommend Thai Airlines - lovely food, free drink and nibbles and you even get a tropical flower arrangement each before you land!
