We hooked up on Thursday morning all set to go, then oh no, a problem. Our van had no power connection from the car. We had arranged to stop at JB to get another van issue sorted. Anyway after half an hour or so, everything seemed to be good, except we needed to find an auto electrician to get the car sorted. We stopped in Bendigo and eventually got the car issue fixed after 1.5 hours, then the error on our van battery management system was back. We headed for Wyperfield to catch up with the other 3 couples.
Our Navman then decided to take us on every goat track it could find, at times the track was so rough that it was easier to be off the track, eventually we found our way to the campsite. The night was very very cold, probably about -1 or -2.
Day 2 off to Renmark for a camp right on the Murray River, was a very scenic spot.
Day 3 saw us head to the Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges, this place is awesome. Along the way there were lots of wildlife, kangaroos and emus. Most of them were dead on the road, but there were lots off to the side as well, needed to be very watchful.
