Had a bit of a sleep in as the lovely apartment is the first place that has had decent curtains to block out the light. The locals don't mind as they make the most of the sun while it's out as winter is so dark and long. Went to the Viking ship museum which was really interesting then headed of to Vasteras. Stephen still pretty frustrated with the Norwegian speed limits as even long straight roads seem to be 70 or 80. Crossed into Sweden after about an hour or so, although only a small sign to mark the border and a customs stop for trucks. Landscape has definitely flattened out gradually along the way from Bergen to now being pretty much flat. I was very impressed with my memory as found our way to the Ågerdal's summer house straight away. Arrived about 5.30 and all very happy to see us. Everyone well and Viola looks great and Emma is now 13 and very grown up, speaking excellent English now like the rest of them. Spent all evening chatting and they had prepared a huge meal for us. This could be France all over again!
