Headed off for the tourist trek on the tram. Got off at Charles Bridge and walked across. I now know why Lonely Planet says to do it early in the morning. We could not believe the amount of people, it was quite scary. Once we got into the old town it didn't get any better. Left Karlovy Vary and headed straight for Prague. Decided to go the slow route as had plenty of time. A good decision as the scenery was great. Left Berlin and headed for Dresden. Only a 2 hour drive thanks to those magnificent German autobahns, sitting on 130km/hr it goes very fast ( although not as fast as some cars).
