Had free breakfast again in hotel then went to look at Malbork castle. It was the headquarters of the Teutonic Knights, a German religious order from 13th to 15th century. It survived until WW11 when it was badly damaged but has been rebuilt since. It certainly is the biggest castle we have seen so far as it took about 2 hours to walk around it. Packed up and headed off for Warsaw. The drive was a lot better although a lot of roadworks going on. Had a stretch of ...
