Another road trip, another Hyundai Getz (white this time). Our first stop was the Mossman Gorge a very picturesque spot for a kodak moment and a swim in the creek. It was pretty busy so we opted for a picture and an ice cream instead. We arrive in Cape Tribulation in the early afternoon but decided against a swim as a Crocodile had been seen the previous day. No sign of him today though. We took a walk along the boardwalk before heading back to our accommodation in the Daintree Rain Forest. Jo had booked us into a tent - not your ordinary everyday tent but a luxury tent with shower and toilet. The noises from the forest kept us awake most of the night as Jo kept shinning the torch out into the night trying to catch whatever was making the noises - we didn't see a thing !!! Next morning we went to the Rainforest discovery centre and had a very educational few hours learning about the rainforest ecosystem. As it was 20 years ago this weekend that 'Crocodile Dundee' made it's first appearance on the big screen we made our next stop 'Hartleys Crocodile Adventures'. We spent an enjoyable few hours watching Crocs being fed and learning what to do if you get bitten by a poisonous snake (I'm sure it will come in useful one day !!!)
