Stephen and Jo Planet Earth...
Cameron Highlands...........Tea, strawberries, rain, just like home really. Our 1st day saw us chill out eating cream teas and relaxing. We booked a trip to the tea plantation for 8.45am the following day. When we returned to our hostel we met up with Andie, Charlie and Alan who had just arrived and we decided to meet up with them later in the hostel bar. We finally crawled out at 2am the following morning after consuming numerous beers and bottles of wine (I think Jo fell out as she had drunk more than anyone). Well, the next morning when the time came to leave for the trip Jo decided that her hangover was far to bad and she had to go back to bed. I therefore went alone ahhhh!!! the trip wasn't too bad and I took plenty of photos so that she didn't miss much (she finally got up about 4pm). To make up for missing the trip the previous day Jo allowed herself to be talked into a Jungle trek with Andie, Charlie, Alan , Verronica and Helen (2 girls we had met when she had finally got up). It was supposed to be a easy/medium trek which we quickly decided it wasn't as we began climbing through the jungle at an incline that would rival Everest (uphill isn't Jo's favourite direction). We finally arrive back at the hostel 4 hours later covered head to toe in mud, I reckon it must have been at least 10km (it felt it anyway). We leave tomorrow for the Perhentian Islands as we've been missing the sun and need time to recover after todays exercise.
