The next week is fairly repetitive so a normal day would consist of snacks for breakfast, learning some Spanish in the morning, cheap Israeli restaurant for lunch and chill out with my Peruvian mates for the afternoon and evening. I wanted to just relax for the week and wait for Dee to join me on the trip north so I booked into a £4 double room and just wanted a cheap and chilled week. Notable highlights:

Day 70 - Monday 10th May - Bumped into Meo!! So went for a drink with her and Selena (the guys from the salt flats)

Day 71 - Tuesday 11th May - Found an incredible curryhouse. Highlight.

Day 72 - Wednesday 12th May - Watched fulham sadly lose (having had a dream of them winning 7-1, with bobby zamora smoking on the pitch towards the end). Bumped into Tom and Robyn!!

Day 73 - Thursday 13th May - Listened to music up at a lookout point over the city. Went for a drink at a traditional English pub and grabbed some food with Tom and Robyn.

Day 74 - Friday 14th May - Helped the tour agency with their marketing. Saw another amazing spraypaint street artist.

Day 75 - Saturday 15th May - Went swimming at the local swimming pool. Peruvians can't swim. At all. Hilarious. Taught my tour guide how to swim. Bizarre. Bumped into Chris Aspden and Ben Sadd in the evening!! Hit up a really cool set of local bars set into this old colonial building.

Day 74 - Sunday 16th May - Watched Rafa win Madrid in another English pub. Got a cama bus ticket for the 22 hour ride ahead.

Day 77 - Monday 17th May

Said goodbye to Tom and Robyn on the way through Huacachina and said hello to Deeeeee!! Got on a brand new bus in Lima to head all the way up to the Ecuadorian border and complete my 40 hour journey.
