Day 49 - Monday 19th April Another early start for the bumpy bus ride up to Lake Titicaca (Great Puma - due to it's shape), one of the worlds highest navigable lakes. Day 47 - Saturday 17th April Another 5.30am early wakeup for the return flight, this time with a very bumpy takeoff on the dirt runway and an extremely sketchy landing back in La Paz. Day 44 - Wednesday 14th April Even earlier 4am start, just managed to catch some of the guys arriving back from their night out as I met up with everyone for the first flight out to Rurrenebaque, the start of the amazon basin and our pampus tour. Day 42 - Monday 12th April The bus was supposed to arrive at 8am but got in at 4. Day 40 - Saturday 10th April 13 hours sleep later I felt just about well enough to catch my first Bolivian bus, an extremely bumpy affair with bags on the roof alongside a table and set of chairs, and the road frequently blocked by llamas, donkeys or ostriches!!
