Day 133 - Monday 12th July

Caught a taxi and ferry out to Isla Ometepe, an island out in Lake Nicaragua created by two volcanoes, one at each end. The perfect adventure island. After moving in to our hostel and a jalapeño steak later we headed out to a natural spring lake and swam in it's wonderfully cold waters...

Day 134 - Tuesday 13th July

Bright and early we were up and ready to climb a volcano...or so we thought. Instead our taxi driver took us to a waterfall, hoping to squeeze two tours out of us in two days. Shame we only had one day here but even so we trekked through wicked cloud forest and were the only ones at a freezing cold 80m waterfall. Actually pretty cool. Then siestered in a hammock on the beach for the afternoon...
