So after missing my bus at 6.30 am and legging it down the road to the Oz office I finally made it on the bus on our way to Surf camp.
Met 3 girls over breakfast- Charlie, Marisa and Justine andpretty much stuck with them all the way til end of Byron Bay!

We stopped off at a Koala hospital which was so cute altho all the Koala's were sleeping!! And we then stopped in Coffs Harbour for lunch which was a very pretty little town.

We arrived about 5pm in Surf camp and after a quick tour- we strolled down the beach to watch the sunset. Dinner was probably the biggest meal i've had since i got here- choice of pasta, fisgh or both!!!
We then sat around a campfire with a singer who played guitar and was a very chilled night!!

We arose at 6am in time for our breajfast with a Kookaburra who stole a girls piece of toast right off her plate!!! lol
We then prepared for our surf lesson which was hilarious- practiscing jumping up on r boards on the beach- many times of which i fell over!! and i wasnt even in the sea!!

Surfing was amazing- i loved it!! although i came away with so many bruises!! just about managed to stand up before screaming in delight, toppling over and getting a mouth full of water and a surf board in the face!!! so all in all job well done i think!!! lol

So we left surf camp and headed for Byron Bay- which I must say- I fell in love with. It's a small place with boutique shops and a beach- that's basically it- but it was so pretty and so relaxed!!! We arrived on Saturday afternoon and had a table booke d at the local club- Cheeky Monkeys for the Oz Exp crew.
So we turned up and got dinner- Thai Veggie Curry for $2!!!!! BARGAIN!!!!
We got lots of free drink vouchers for cheering and among other things there was a strip competition and a heads/tails competition!! A very good night.

Sunday we spent chilling at the beach pretty much all day before heading back to make pasta- which cost $1.60 each and lasted for 3 meals each!! lol.
I went off to meet Reah, Darren, Charlie and Simon- the guys from Sydney off their bus and we spent the eve sat on the beach having a few drinks.

Monday- we got up for the sunrise and went up to the lighthouse- the most easterly point of Australia!! It was a tad cloudy but extremely pretty!!! We got back down to our hostel and sat relaxing with a bowl of Cheerios!!! The day was again spent with a mixture of beach and pool and internet sessions too before again heading off to Cheeky Monkeys with the other Oz group as well. Again we haddinner for about $3 and this time we had many peg competitions and cheering sessions!!

Tuesday i spent relaxing and chilling with Charlie n Marisa who were leaving that afternoon- we wondered to the beach but it was raining so not a very nice day!! The night again i hate to say it was spent at Cheeky Monkeys after playing some rather strange games at thehostel such as Crazy Chicken and the Danish game!! lol

Wednesday i packed my stuff and had a photo upload session before buying a few postcards and heading off on the bus to Brisbane!!

Arrived Brisbane 6.30pm and met Charlie n Marisa who were already there- grabbed some food in the Down Under Bar and spent the night celebrating my 12 hours in Brisbane- having to leave agin at 6.30 am!!! lol

Bus journey to Rainbow Beach was long- stopping in Noosa for 2 hours- where we couldnt even sit on the beach as the Cyclone meant that the waves were right up to the rocks- there was no beach!! Arrived in Rainbow beach to the same eweather- rain!!! Spent the afternoon deciding there was nothing to do here and managed to kill time by going food shopping!! Had live music in the bar which was nice and chilled and later on wondered down to the beach with the irish we had met playing funny drinking games again!!!

Today- Friday- i had the longest lie in ever!!! It was so nice!! All ive done since then is write on here and we have a meeting at 4pm to let us know whether Fraser Island is safe to go to (meant to be going on a 3day trip there tomorrow!!)
