So I've just got back from a three day trip to Uluru and Kings Canyon!!!

Both very cool!!! Lots of pictures but will upload them in a few days.

Day 1- The Olgas

A rock formation looks like a lady lying down- trekking through in the 38 degree heat was extremely difficult!!

Day 2- Uluru sunrise, Uluru base walk- 2 hours

Arrived at Kings Canyon- in our permanent campsite- sleeping under the stars- in swags- very cool!!!

Day 3- Heartbreak Hill- like a million stepd to the top of Kings Canyon to view sunrise- very pretty!! and then the 3 hour trek around the rest of the canyon!!

A quick swim before heading back to Alice Springs- not before stopping for a Slurp- Milkshake with a dollop of ice cream and flavouring and then cream on top!!! Yum!!!

Flying to Melbourne today!! xxxxxxxxxxxx
