G'day! Had a great honeymoon in Kuta lol (everywhere we went people asked if we were enjoying our honeymoon!) Spent yesterday without the hotel as we had to check out of the hotel at 12 and our flight wasnt till midnight! So we spent the day shopping and bought far more than we can afford. Steven ended up with 4 t-shirts when he only wanted one and we have 40 bracelets! Since the bomb there has been hardly any tourists and the people there are desparate for business. They follow you down the street and drag you into their shops - once you are in, it is impossible to get away without buying something and we felt really sorry for them all! We did lots of haggling though so got some good deals. One person wanted to give us 2 t-shirts which should have been 160,000 rp for one and 85,000 rp for the other and he was that desparate he was trying to sell them both for 70,000 rp! Eventually we went back to the hotel and sneaked into the games room to play table tennis just to stop spending money lol! Eventually we went to the airport to catch the plane to Australia. We finally got on the plane after being searched about a million times and arrived in Darwin at 4.30am. We got to our hostel and went to bed at which point it was 6am so we have not been up long enough to do anything yet today apart from go and have breakfast/lunch! Love Steph and Steven xx
