Yesterday after breakfast/lunch we went to check out the beach. It isn't a beach where you can go and sunbathe as it is full of rocks and had signs that said beware of falling rocks! You also can't swim in the water because of poisonous jelly fish. After this we did some washing by ourselves!!!!! The tumble drier was rubbish though so we had to dry them by our fan in the room. Everything is looking the same size and colour as before, so we consider it a success! Met Becca and Steve, went to the supermarket and bought our meals for the few days we are here. Ended up eating for free at night, the receptionist at our hostel gave us a voucher for a free meal at a pub called the vic. Really impressed with the meal, lasagne and chips which should of been $6. Had a glass of wine with the meal which was $3 each. So it ended up a cheap meal which is nice! Came back to the hostel and ate lovely ice cream lol. Today we had our first bowl of cereal since leaving England, well i had 2 bowls! Went to the Parap market by bus and it was full of pissed up aboriginals lol. The market was ok but not much there! Me and Steph bought some marble mudcake which was yummy. Came back and had a swim and sit by the pool. But it was cut short by a bit of rain. So we made lunch, Jacket potatoes beans and cheese :) with our remaining mudcake and ice cream for dessert :D Went to look around the shops here but most of them closed at 2ish, so we could only look in a few! Off to a restaurant tonight because we can get 15% discount yay! Then off to the deck bar (the place to be seen!) for a few drinks afterwards. Love Steven and Steph xx
