Another slow start for the Stantons with breakfast beginning around 9:30. This was out on the terrace overlooking the bay. We have been introduced to some of the Spanish delicacies, the girls particularly enjoying the toasted white bread with ripe tomatoes smeared on them, topped by some olive oil, absolutely delicious, especially when the tomatoes are so ripe and the olive oil is Spanish!
After breakfast the boys heading down to the beach for some swimming and canoeing. Kyra and Claire headed up the hill to Begur for a little site-seeing and shopping. After lunch we enjoyed more siesta time. Seems we are getting into the rhythm of Aigua Blava quite nicely! Miles lay by the pool for a couple of hours, we all engaged in a badmington game, and then back to Begur for dinner after a drink in the Placa. It was much quieter being Monday, I think a number of people from yesterday had returned to work so there were plenty more seats available for a drink and we weren't turned away from our first choice for dinner - Le Bistrot. Dinner was beautiful just a little away from the madding crowd, tapas again, but poor Richard has limited choice of food that is not seafood… he enjoyed the Spanish omelette, but the sardines were an acquired taste that I think may be saved for next time.
