Tuesday 22nd November Today, I went on a tour called Uncle Brian's Rainforest Tour! This was the reason I decided to stay in Cairns longer and it was worth every moment. Sunday 20th November Today I finally checked out of the luxury hotel and moved into a hostel. It's quite nice actually and it's clean which is a good thing! Saturday 19th November Today we had our first great adventure in Cairns; we went diving in the Great Barrier Reef. We were booked onto a boat tour which took you out for the day with about 50 other people as well. We had a long prep talk as we got onto the boat and we were told there were sea sick tablets available if needed and best to take them before the boat sets off to prevent any sickness. Tuesday 15th November 2011 So today is the day! With little sleep being up most of the night packing my rucksack, I am finally ready to leave. I have no idea how proper backpackers just take a backpack!! Ive taken my packed backpack inside my suitcase with a few extra things added and it is huge and sooo heavy! My plan is hopefully to leave my suitcase and half my stuff in Melbourne with family friends as I go travelling around! Not sure how that will work yet...
