Tuesday 29th November

After not seeing any turtles when scuba diving in the Great Barrier reef, I decided to join a couple of friends and take a snorkelling trip to Green Island (where apparently there are LOADS of turtles to be seen). It was definitely worth a try and money worth spent as, yes I did see LOADS of turtles. We saw about 5 turtles and we were able to swim down and touch them. Kazz and I even had the pleasure of a guided tour around the turtle's home! We must have followed him peacefully for a good half an hour, it was incredible. Mum and Dad, I would like a pet turtle please J

This was a perfect day until the unexpected happened; Digby's prized possession had a terrible accident, his underwater camera died by swallowing too much sea water. It was a traumatic accident. Due to this, I also had to purchase a new camera battery as I put mine into the underwater camera but luckily I managed to save all the photos!

In the evening, I decided to cheer myself up and go for a night out with the girls from my dorm with lots of drinking and dancing.
