My time at home was really nice. It was lovely to see everyone as I travelled around the country from London to Solihull to Leeds to Manchester to Leeds to Solihull to Birmingham to London to Solihull to Bournemouth to London to Solihull to London!! I think that's about the jist of it, don't think I've missed anyone out. I also got to attend one beautiful wedding and met four new gorgeous babies. And of course it was amazing to see all my beautiful friends and family. I'm sorry to my relatives in Israel I could not make it over to see you, but I am getting kicked out Australia on November 17th so I'm sure a visit to you won't be long away.
I left London on Thursday 6th June. It was an extremely long flight and I can never sleep on planes. I was stuck in the middle so I was restricted to getting up and moving around when I wanted. Eventually, I arrived back in Brisbane on Saturday 8th June early in the morning. I was pretty tired so any plans I had made for Saturday night went completely out the window. It Is now Wednesday and I am still waking up at 6am and falling asleep by 9.30pm. As for the weather report, it's humid, raining, foggy, misty, wet, muggy, and any other word to describe the light and heavy precipitation we have going on here. But because I am being optimistic I believe the weather right now to be a good thing because it means I can be more productive looking for work as there is nothing else to do. I have had 3 job interviews today; 2 sales positions and 1 agency position. Currently I have one call back from the sales job, of course, as I would expect, because they always need people as the work is commission only and no one wants that!! Anyway I will go to the second interview just because the first 2 weeks are paid training and then after that I hope to have another job to go to, unless I fall in love with sales.
I have been meeting up with friends I knew from before I left, and made new friends as you do when you're living in a hostel. The first couple of nights I spent on the top bunk but luckily managed to get a bottom bunk a couple of nights ago and now I am comfortable. I will hopefully be looking for a flat once I have found a job and then I really can unpack and not get woken up every hour of the night by doors slamming or people talking.
Nothing else to report as of yet. Will be in touch when I land the job of my dreams (so probably never) or to tell you I got a job of some sort at least!! Miss you all, kisses and hugs and all that jazz.
Lots of Love
