Firstly I must apologise for the messy blogging with an upside down photo, extra copies and empty pages...its obvious now that we have no youth with us to mend our errors!!
We arrived at Sunday school at 8am as requested start time but we didn't have full numbers until approximately 8.50am with 40 children in attendance. Island time is great for some!
We did songs, memory verse, games and talk all based on Proverbs 3:5-6. Then we stayed for church service which started with the youth singing in beautiful voices at 9.45am with the elders walking in at 10am. It was a special church service (once again we have conincidered with an celebration) with the induction of a new elder and their thanksgiving of funds from all church families. So there was a guest speaker, time receiving the money gifts, two song items, induction, special prayer for the elder & his wife so no surprise that 2.5 hrs later it was finish.
There was a lunch for everyone but our friend/contact decided to take us to a cafe for lunch with her, which was really lovely having time to just discuss our lives.
We didn't get back to resort until 3pm leaving time to relax and preparing for us leaving in morning for Tata for the week.
We may not be able to blog in the remote area but will try. Otherwise tune in again next Friday when we return to the resort.
