Back in Bangkok! i cant believe how fast the last 6 weeks have gone, being back in the same guest house makes it feel like only yesterday i was here getting eaten in the sawasadee by bugs.

So yeah apologies for the last blog the computer crashed half way through so the photo uploads didnt all get on either hence only 2 from Laos.

i really loved Laos but we seemed to go through so quickly but time is seriously speedy up i cant keep track.

i met up with the new group last nite and went out - they are all really nice, i hope this trip is as good as the last one. it was really sad saying goodbye to the others, after doing literally everything together for 6 weeks. im meeting a few people in Australia who are going to be there at the same time.

Luang Probang was really cool, we went on a village tour and saw people making loads of stuff, they were all small families working in a roduction line type thing in small shelters outside their houses, it was good to see where everything comes from and how they do - its like a time warp!

We walked up a huge hill/mountain with a waterfall! it was incredible. Because of all the rain the fall was overflowing so all around it where u normally walk up was like a mud slide - it was such hard work but really worth it. Half way up we walked through the falls and stood on a ledge looking down with the water gushing right behind us. I thought that was awsome but then we went to the top. We had to walk through what was pretty much a swamp ( i got my shoes stuck several times) and tiptoes over streams on logs, hanging on to branches. Eventually we got to the edge of the falls where there was a fallen tree hanging out over the edge, a few of us climbed on to in and shuffled out to the edge and looked down - oh my god it was such a rush. I was right on the verge of the top of a waterfall looking down into all the rainbows and out across the jungle.

On the way back down i fell over and slid a few feet, scratching up my leg so iv got a nice war wound to remind me of the day lol.
