Hey,

Well here goes blog number 1!

I arrived safe and sound at my lodgings in Bangkok and got straight in the shower after a long flight which eventually took off after them having to drag some poor persons bag off the plae after they lost their passport somewhere in the airport! As annoying as it was sitting there waitin i was soooooo glad that i was on-board and not the one running about looking for my passport in a blind panick!

Bangkok is cool and as Dad said the heat did hit me as i walked out the airport but the taxi dude said is was nice and cool cos it had just rained, lol! I had a wonder down the Khaoi San Road (if thats how u spell it) and eventually sat down in a bar on the side of the road and had a beer, and just took it all in - whilst fending off all the touts trying to sell me pretty much everything imaginable - id have given tescos a run for their money had i bought it all!

I stupidly had no concept of thai bahts and their worth and tried to give 200 for a bottle of water (thats wat i thought he said) which only cost 30, so he giggled at me and took the right money, lol, lesson learned!

Im just about to go back to the room and go to bed as i havnt slept since i got up yesterday - not that tired now and its so hot but il give it a go!

Will right again soon when i have actually done something interesting
