Ko Tao was lovely, didn't stay for long die to injured foot (small accident!) so we caught a ferry and coach to Bangkok. we saw some temples, glamourous but i wonder why they spend so much money on gold statues and big temples when they have old people searching through the bins outside for food... It was a sad sight to see. Anyway, Bangkok was too fast and busy for my liking so we caught an overnight sleeper train to Chiang Mai. We caught a second class train for a 750 km journey for £13 !! Awesome! We got to Chiang Mai and hired some mopeds out with some other guys from the hostel, and rode up a mountain for some stunning views. We also rode to Tiger Temple and spend some time with some Bengal tigers big and small this was pure class. They were well fed before we met them and luckily they didn't want any deserts. We went to a night Market to get a 50p meal! The next day we went on another moped tour and visited Hmong villages and met local people sand see how they got by on 15p a day! Relaxed at a hot pool spring and saw some brilliant scenery and also visited an orchid farm. On our last day here at spicythai hostel we organised a day trip, we rafted in the morning, followed by an Elephant ride and then trekked through a jungle containing snakes and dangerous spiders, before arriving at a superb waterfall where we cooled down. Off to Four Seasons to relax for a few days before going to Ayuthaya
