I got up and had a great breakfast again. Mandelise and I left about 9.30 to get the tube to Belem. A really nice neighbourhood where we saw the tower of Belem, the presidential palace, a monastery, a great view of the bridge and some other monuments. Also it is the home of the traditional pastel de nata, so we bought 2 from the shop. They came in a posh box and we we opened it later there were 3 in the box! We then got the train to Cascais, a nice seaside town....

Today I started the day eating the included breakfast at hostel which was great - freshly cooked pancakes, cereal, toast and crossiants. Then I did the walking tour on which started at the hostel. It was a really nice group of people. Near the beginning of the tour I was pooed on by a big pigeon, right on top of my head!! Unfortunately I had to spend most of the day on the bus. In the morning i had a bit of a walk around Vigo but sadly it was raining so I didn't do too much. The bus for Lisbon left at 1.30pm and arrived at 8.30pm. I was a bit overwhelmed initially when i got off the bus, because although I've been to big cities on this trip, Lisbon is by far the biggest I've been to for a while.
